National Novice Cross Country Championships

The Scottish National Novice Cross Country Championship was first held at West Carntyne, Glasgow on 1^st November 1919. It was a new championship for individuals and team with the qualification that it was only open to athletes who had not won individual or team championship medals in District or National championships.

The event continued until season 1948-9.
