Scottish Trail Race Championships
The Scottish Ultra Trail Running Championship was started in 2011 and was held in conjunction with the Montane Highland Fling - 53 miles from Milngavie to Tyndrum. The team races are 3 to count on cummulative time.
Two years later on 25th May 2013, the Commission instigated a mid distance Championships. It was held a Falkland Estate in Fife and hosted by Fife AC. The team race is 6 to count for men and 4 to count for women. On 17th May 2014 Championships for U15s and U17 were introduced.
On 5th September 2015 the Women's race was equalised with the men's at 4 team counters.
